2009 Weekly Rodeo Series & Wild West Show at the Wild Wild West Event Centre
Brought to you in 2009 by The Friends of the Wild West, Authentic Western Productions, and The Wild Wild West Event Centre!
The Rodeo will be returning in the summer of 2009! Dates are currently TBA, but we will post them here as soon as possible. Check back often!
A typical night's entertainment goes something like this...
Upon arrival, guests are greeted by real cowboys on horseback directing the crowd to their seat in the covered stands. A grand entrance and introduction opens the rodeo followed by bronc riding (saddle & bareback), and the ever popular bull riding. Along with the rodeo there are some interactive novelty acts to get guests involved, such as the always entertaining mini-chuckwagon races.
After the rodeo, guests are led to the Dance Hall where live music is playing and guests will be greeted by Dance Hall Girls offering a big Western welcome. Following a delicious meal of organic, free range beef, it's time for a cultural treat as Native dancers in full regalia take center stage.
During the short intermission, your guests can stretch their legs, toss some horseshoes, and take advantage of some photo opportunities with cowboys, Natives, horses, mountain backdrops, and a stationary Buckin' Bronc! Next, the saloon girls call everyone to the Dance Hall where a line dance instructor leads everyone in this popular western dance.
Watch out! Out of nowhere come the evil Fourlorne Cattle Co. Cowboys looking for trouble! Hopefully the sheriff can save the day. When the smoke clears, its time to kick up your heels to live country music until you are ready to leave.

If you would like to volunteer for this event, you will need to become a member of our society. Some positions we have available are:
- Mounted Greeters
- Dance Hall Girl Greeters
- Cowboy Characters/Gunfighters
- Strolling Musicians
- Native Characters
- Sound Production Support
- Corporate Sales
- Corporate Hosts
- Poster Distribution
Unfortunately, due to various concerns, there are no volunteer positions available for the rodeo itself. Thank you for your interest!
